A car exploded in the middle of a Christmas fayre in a village in Harrow on Thursday evening (November 30).

Footage shows a car burning in the middle of Pinner Christmas fayre as firefighters from London Fire Brigade tackle the blaze.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed they attended the scene after they received a call at around 6pm.

A Met Police spokesman said: "Officers from Metropolitan Police were called at around 6pm to reports of a car on fire in Bridge Street.

"The London Fire Brigade was on the scene, no one was in the car at the time and there was no injuries. The fire was put out and the car has been removed."

No injuries have been reported and the fire was under control at around 7pm.

London Fire Brigade has been approached for a comment.
