A pedestrian has been taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries after a collision with a lorry in Greenford this morning (September 28).

Met police were called at 11.34am to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) in Greenford Road.

The pedestrian suffered non life-threatening injuries but was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service.

The accident reportedly caused slow traffic on the road.

Earlier this month, on September 10, a car hit a wall at Iron Bridge in Southall , leading to road closures.

The incident is believed to have happened at around 5am according to the Met Police.

Just before noon Greenford Road remained closed southbound between Baird Avenue and Uxbridge Road while investigation work was being carried out on site.
