A pedestrian has been killed after being hit by a motorbike in Harlington.

Police were called to Bath Road at around 9.45pm on Wednesday (February 3) to a collision between a motorbike and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, who is described by police as a 58-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Next of kin have reportedly been informed, but police say formal identification is yet to take place.

The rider of the motorbike, a 37-year-old man, was taken to hospital where is condition is described as serious but stable.

Police are currently appealing for witnesses, with officers from the Roads and Transport Policing Command investigating the fatal collision.

Police say there have been no arrests.
