The victim of a fatal stabbing in Park Royal on Friday (October 20) has been identified as 29-year-old Johnny Ogunbayo.
At around 2am, police were called by London Ambulance Service to reports of a man stabbed at an address in Lakeside Drive.
Officers attended along with paramedics and found a 29-year-old man suffering from stab injuries.
He was pronounced dead at the scene at 2.57am.
A spokesman for Metropolitan Police said the victim's next of kin have been informed and he has been formally identified.
"At this time the death is being treated as unexplained," the spokesman added.
Post-mortem examinations, which took place at Northwick Park Hospital on Friday (October 20), gave the cause of death as a single stab wound to the heart.
A 21-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
She was taken to a north London police station and has been bailed pending further enquiries to a date in mid-November.
Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command took over the investigation on Wednesday (October 25) and are now leading the investiation.
