Firefighters battled a raging blaze for nearly fours in shipping containers in Park Royal.

An investigation is under way by London Fire Brigade (LFB) following the fire on Monday (April 17) which damaged two shipping containers in Standard Road.

A propane gas cylinder weighing 50kg had to be removed from the scene to safety.

Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters and officers were called to the road in the early hours of the morning.

The Brigade were called at 3.46am and the fire was under control by 7.25am.

Crews from four fire stations - Park Royal, Acton, North Kensington and Willesden - attended the scene.

The cause of the fire at this stage is unknown.

An LFB spokesman said: "Four fire engine and around 20 firefighters and officers were called to a fire in a shipping container in Standard Road in Park Royal.

"Two shipping containers were completely damaged by fire.

"One 50kg propane cylinder was removed from the scene by firefighters."
