Roads around the Oval cricket ground have been closed on Tuesday (October 17) morning as emergency services attempt to talk a woman down from the roof of a house.
The woman has been on a Harleyford Road property's roof throughout the night, since around 8.30pm on Monday (October 16).

A woman has been arrested by the Metropolitan Police following an overnight 12-hour stand-off on a roof.
At around 8.22pm on Monday (October 16), the woman in her 30s climbed onto a roof on Harleyford Road near the Oval cricket ground.
Officers attended after reports of a “disturbance outside a property” and were then involved in a 12-hour stand-off.
The woman came down at around 8.30am on Tuesday (October 17) and was then arrested.
She is now in custody in a south London police station, arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and affray.

Woman in 30s arrested
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police confirmed the woman has now been arrested.
Police were called to Harleyford Road, SE11 at around 8.22pm on Monday (October 16) following reports of a woman causing a disturbance outside a property.
Officers attended and the woman, believed to be aged in her 30s, climbed onto a roof at the location.
Officers remained on scene and engaged with the woman who came down at about 8.30am on Tuesday (October 17).
She was checked over by London Ambulance Service before being arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and affray.
She has been taken to a south London police station.
Woman down from roof
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police confirmed that the woman is down from the roof.
They said the woman was now being treated by the London Ambulance Service in an ambulance.
“The woman came down and she is now being treated by the London Ambulance Service.”
Police incident over
The A202 Harleyford Road/Kennington Oval has now re-opened in both directions.
Traffic has returned to normal and the police incident is over between A3 Kennington Park Road (Oval Station) and A3204 Durham Street.

There was heavy traffic between the A3 Kennington Park Road (Oval Station) and A3204 Durham Street (Beehive Traffic Lights), with congestion on A3 Clapham Road to B301 Fentiman Road while the police incident was ongoing.

There was heavy traffic this morning on the A202 Harleyford Road/Kennington Oval, which was closed in both directions.
This was due to a police incident involving a woman’s 12-hour stand-off with police on a property’s roof.
Negotiators from the Metropolitan Police were at the scene speaking to the woman.
