Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a collision took the life of a 30-year-old man and left two seriously injured in Harrow.

Police were called at around 8:45pm, to reports that a blue Mercedes C180 had collided with a roundabout on Harrow View, before colliding with a wall on on Monday, February 15.

Officers, the London Fire Brigade and the London Ambulance Service attended the scene.

The driver, believed to be aged in his early 30s, and a teenage boy were taken to a central London hospital where they remain in a serious but stable condition.

Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

A second male passenger, believed to be 30 years old, was also taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead at 10:50pm.

Next of kin have been informed and a formal identification is yet to take place.

A post-mortem examination will be held in due course.

Detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating the cause of the collision.

Police officers would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the Mercedes in the moments leading up to the collision.
