A police search is underway after a teenager was found with stab wounds in Northolt.

Met police were called to Newnham Close at 3.21pm on Tuesday (April 11) where officers found a 19-year-old male with stab wounds.

London Air Ambulance (LAS) attended.

Sadly the teenager died later in hospital at 5.35pm.

Police have arrested four people on suspicion of attempted murder.

Arrests made

The police have arrested four males on suspicion of attempted murder following the knife attack in Northolt.

A Met Police spokesperson added:

Four males (no further details) have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and taken into custody at separate London police stations.

The Homicide and Major Crime Command has been informed and will be investigating.

Metropolitan Police statement

Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at around 15:20hrs on Tuesday, 11 April to reports of a male stabbed in Newnham Close, Northolt.

Officers attended and found the male, aged 19, injured. He was taken to hospital where he was later pronounced dead at around 1735hrs. Next of kin are aware.

A member of the public, who requested not to be named, says he has just seen the London Air Ambulance (LAS) leave the site.

A Met police spokesman said: “Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 15:21hrs on Tuesday 11 April to reports of an assault in Newnham Close, Northolt.

“Officers attended and found a 19-year-old male with a stab wound.

“London’s Air Ambulance is in attendance.
“No arrests have been made.
“Enquiries continue.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact police via 101 or @MetCC.
