Two boys charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of Abdullahi Tarabi in Northolt, have appeared in court.

The pair, a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old, were both charged with murder and possession of a pointed or bladed article.

Both teenagers, who have not yet been named, appeared in custody at Hendon Magistrates' court on Saturday April 15.

They will next appear in custody at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, April 18.

The 16-year-old was arrested on Thursday April 13 and the 17-year-old on Friday April 14.

The charges relate to the stabbing in Newnham Close, Northolt, on Tuesday April 11.

Met Police has named the victim as 19-year-old Abdullahi Tarabi, also known as Maino Tarabi, from Greenford .

Three 19-year-old men and an 18-year-old man who were initially arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and later arrested on suspicion of murder have been released under investigation.
