After the huge demand for the first round of RAF Northolt open day tickets, the organisers are releasing a second batch in two week's time.

Norfest, on Saturday July 22, welcomes the public in a full day of entertainment and attractions on the base in South Ruislip.

RAF Northolt says the concept is to “give something back to the local communities which support the station” and will include military displays, a BMX stunt group and children's entertainment.

RAF Northolt tickets are back!

Project officer for the event, Wing Commander Gaz Littlechild, said: “The programme for the day is already packed with things to see and do – there really will be something for all the family.

“We've also had a huge response in our call for stalls and there will be dozens of local groups, charities and societies represented.

“Demand for the tickets has been huge so we're delighted to be able to put more on sale, though those interested will need to get their order in quickly to avoid disappointment.”

Disabled Blue Badge holders do not need parking tickets and will be allowed in dedicated disabled spaces.

Some of the first attractions have also been announced, including The Band of the RAF Regiment, a motorcycle display team, a cheerleader group and Bollywood dancers.

There will also be a flypast by a Dakota aircraft from the Royal Air Force's Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

The first round of tickets sold out in just a few hours and RAF Northolt is expect demand to be just as high for the next batch.

Tickets are available to residents of Ealing , Harrow an Hilingdon and residents will have to give their postcode to pick theirs up.

The event was last held in 2015 to mark the centenary of the base.

Tickets will be available for Norfest 2017 here.
