London's security will be reviewed following an attack in Nice saw 84 people die after a truck drove into civilians on Thursday (July 14) night.
Mayor Sadiq Khan said the city's robustness must be looked at once again after a driver ploughed into crowds in the French region on Bastille Day.
Speaking to Sky News, he said he would do "everything possible to keep Londoners safe".
The Labour Mayor added the city will stand "shoulder to shoulder" with France to defeat "poisonous and evil" terror attacks.
In a separate interview with LBC radio, he told Londoners it will be "business as usual" and sends his condolences to all those involved in the attack.
At least 84 people, including dozens of children, died in the unprecedented attack, with fifty more injured.
