The new cinema due to open in South Ruislip is hiring for new staff .

The Cineworld branch will open at the former Express Dairies site in July as part of a £100million scheme to revamp the area.

The 11-screen cinema is part of the Arla development at the former Express Dairies site and will show the latest Hollywood and Bollywood releases, as well as having a Starbucks and a Baskin Robbins ice cream counter.

The cinema is recruiting 59 people to help run the shows on a full and part time basis.

They are looking for supervisors, team members and even potential Starbucks baristas, at a recruitment open day on May 6 at the Ramada hotel in Long Drive, South Ruislip .

The event runs from 10am to 5pm.

Alongside the Cineworld, there will be an Asda, petrol station, four restaurants and 163 new homes

Sam Tomlinson, Cineworld South Ruislip general manager, said: I am very excited to be part of this new project and am looking forward to bringing a new multiplex cinema to Ruislip.

"Cineworld has fantastic career prospects and is a brilliant company to work for.

"We encourage local people and those with a passion for film to come down to the open day, on May 6 to find out more about the roles available and hopefully join our team.”
