Transport for London (TfL) plan to build 119 homes on land in Parsons Green, it has announced.

The proposed development is on the site of a former London Underground depot adjacent to Parsons Green Tube station, which is currently used as workspace.

Forty per cent of the homes will be affordable, and the project will also include 4,000 sq metres of retail, workspace and restaurants.

The development will also support around 300 jobs and enable the opening of three arches for commercial use.

It is part of TfL’s plans to release land for the development of more than 10,000 new homes across the Capital over the next decade.

It held a two-day public exhibition as the second stage of its public consultation for the former Parsons Green Depot in October.

TfL say all proceeds from development will be reinvested into improving London’s transport network.
