"There would be regular times outside singing or shouting. It started about eight months ago.

"You wouldn't want to open your door. I'm dubious about answering the door, a lot of the men were drunk and abusive.

"I would see girls going in every day in the morning, afternoon and evenings.

"I would say they were very young, about 18.

The brothel was opposite Featherstone Primary and Nursery School in Western Road

"Sometimes in the front garden they were naked, completely naked. You would go out and think whatever next.

"They used to prance around with the front door open.

"They were naked in the front garden, they would dance around."

Another resident on the road, who requested to stay anonymous, described how he noticed prostitutes walking in and out of the building every two to three hours.

He added: "Since September I have seen girls going in and out, in the afternoon and the evening.

"You would see people going in and out it was very obvious, every two or three hours we would notice that.

"I am glad the police have closed it down, it was a nuisance and there was no safety.

"Customers would park in their drive as well.

"(They were) European girls, very young and a few older, in their 30s and 40s.

"I saw a few Thai girls but they were mostly European, 90% European, then Thai and Jamaican made up the rest."

"The worst incident I saw was when two or three policeman were here, over some fight or something inside, it was really nasty."
