A murder investigation has been launched after a man was found dead with stab wounds in Brent in the early hours of Tuesday morning (March 17).

Police were called at 3.25am to a home in North Circular Road, in Neasden, following reports of a stabbing.

Officers broke into the property, where they discovered the body of a man, believed to be in his mid-30s.

An ambulance crew declared him dead at the scene at 4.10am.

Two men, aged 27 and 44, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are in custody at a north London police station.

The victim has yet to be formally identified and his next of kin have not been informed.

A Met Police spokesman said a post-mortem examination will be held in due course.

The Homicide and Major Crime Command is investigating and enquiries are continuing.
