A murder investigation has been launched following the discovery of a man's body in a flat in Acton.
Police officers forced entry to a property in Cumberland Park at around 9.45pm on Tuesday (March 24) having received information about the occupant.
They found the body of a 50-year-old man, with serious head injuries, inside and he was pronounced dead at 2am on Wednesday (March 25).
A Met Police spokesman said officers are awaiting formal identification and are yet to inform next of kin.
A post-mortem examination took place on Wednesday afternoon in Uxbridge.
Two men, aged 54 and 50, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and remain in custody at separate police stations.
A 44-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of murder, on Wednesday morning, and also remains in custody at this stage.
The Met's Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating under Detective Chief Inspector Simon Ashwin.
