Hanwell clock tower has been covered in flowers and messages of affection for Alice Gross as mourners paid tribute to the teenager whose body was found on Tuesday night.

Mourners have been leaving flowers, messages and pictures sharing memories of the 14-year-old since the news of her death. An arrangement of tea lights on the floor simply said 'Alice we love you' joining the many homemade tributes and promises she would never be forgotten.

Yellow was the predominate colour among the flowers, matching the ribbons which were the symbol of the search to find the schoolgirl who had been missing for more than a month.
