A motorcyclist who died following a fatal collision in Kensington has been named as 39-year-old Nick Gale of Fulham.

Police were called to Kensington High Street to reports of a collision at 10am on Tuesday (March 10), involving a motorcycle and cement lorry.

London Ambulance Service was also called to the scene but the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

While formal identification is yet to take place, the motorcyclist has been named as Nick Gale, from nearby Fulham.

A post-mortem examination is due to take place on Monday (March 16).

The driver of the lorry failed to stop at the scene. The lorry was recovered later in the W2 area and the driver was spoken to by police. He has not been arrested.

The incident is being investigated by the Serious Collision Investigation Unit based at Merton Traffic Garage.
