Motorcyclist killed in collision with car outside Kew Gardens

Police have appealed for witnesses after a 28-year old male motorcyclist died following a collision with a car outside Kew Gardens .

The Met, London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance were all called to Kew Road, at the junction with Litchfield Road outside the botanical garden's Victoria Gate, on Sunday (July 31) at 12.25pm.

The driver of the car involved stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries and no arrests have been made.

The man's next of kin have been informed while temporary road closures since the crash have been lifted.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call investigating officers from the Roads and Transport Policing Command on 020 8543 5157.
