Traffic has returned to normal on Kilburn High Road after a lorry and motorcyclist collision led to its closure .

The cyclist was left with injuries to his shoulder as the London Ambulance Service attended the collision which took place on the A5 at the junction of Willesden Lane at around 9.20 am on Friday July 28.

There were reports of congestion on Kilburn High Road to B451 Brondesbury Road and on A5 Kilburn High Road to B520 Iverson Road and Cavendish Road after the road reopened in both directions around 10.20am.

A spokesman from the Metropolitan Police said: “Reports of a lorry in collision with a motorcyclist.

“The cyclist received injuries to his shoulder.

“[They are] not life threatening or changing.”

A Transport for London spokesman said: “[The] Road reopened in both directions at 10.20am and traffic conditions have returned back to normal.”
