A woman has appeared in court accused of murdering her four-year-old daughter and her partner.

Shelley Christopher, 36, is accused of killing Emanuel Amphahasa, who was in his 40s, and her child, Sophia Christopher.

The victims’ bodies were found at a home in Colville Square, Notting Hill, on Friday (February 27). The man and little girl were pronounced dead at the scene.

Ms Christopher, who also faces a further charge of attempted murder, was unfit to attend her first crown court appearance at the Old Bailey, via video link, on Thursday morning (March 5).

Judge Christopher Moss QC formally refused bail and adjourned the case to a plea and case management hearing on May 21.
