New research has found that more than £26 million worth of commercial property is standing empty in Brent .

Getwestlondon requested a register of empty business property in the borough and was supplied with an exclusive list of 949 offices, warehouses, shops and other properties.

To rent all this out for a year would cost you a staggering £26.8m.

The most expensive derelict commercial property of all is Entoria House on Cumberland Avenue, near Central Middlesex Hospital , which would cost you a cool £1.05 million to let for a year.

Second on the list is a former Wickes branch by Wembley Stadium , with an £825,000 annual rental price.

A total of 55 of these 949 properties would cost you at least £100,000 to let for a year, with many properties gathering dust for years.

Twenty properties are listed as being empty from the year 2000, while nearly 200 have been empty since 2010.

Eight properties on the list are registered as vacant from April 1 1994, while another 11 have had no one occupying them this century.
