Commuters should wrap up warm this week as the Met Office predict a cold spell for the city.
Temperatures plummeted to -1 this morning and this is set to get lower as the week continues.
The Met Office have said chilly northern winds have made the city colder, with a drop to -2°c expected on Monday night.
Cooler weather will remain throughout Tuesday, with icy patches and fog on its way, before some sunshine clears the way for a slightly brighter afternoon, although winds will remain in place.
Maximum temperatures are predicated to be 6°c on Monday and 7°c on Tuesday and Wednesday.
More wind and rain is to come for London for the remainder of the week right through to Friday.
The cold snap comes days after the country was hit by the strong winds of Storm Imogen and the Thames Estuary being shut down after the banks burst in Embankment.
