Members of the emergency services in Hounslow are hosting a Joint Services Open Day in the borough on Saturday, September 9.

The community is invited to Thornbury Park in Isleworth to meet the local heroes who work hard to keep the streets of Hounslow safe every day.

Visitors will be able to meet the hard working police dogs, tackle an army assault course and experience a rescue by the London Fire Brigade .

Brentford Football Club will also be on hand for a kick about alongside live acts and entertainment, street dancing and even a funfair.

Feeling peckish? A range of food from around the world will be served on the day so the little ones can refuel after trying their hand at street dancing or getting muddy on the assault course.

The family event it free to attend and runs from 12pm until 6pm.
