A masseur who sexually abused his clients while working in Shepherd’s Bush and Brentford has been jailed.

Mohamad El Alfy targeted his first victim in 2012 while working at the Happiness Centre in Shepherd’s Bush , before striking twice in one day when working at the health spa at Hilton Hotel in Syon Park in 2015.

He reacted angrily and aggressively to the Isleworth Crown Court jury when found guilty of three counts on Friday (July 7), shouting at them before a judge jailed him for eight years, police said.

El Alfy, from Brackenbury Road in Hammersmith , was working at the Happiness Centre, in Uxbridge Road, in 2012 when a 33-year-old woman came in for a sports massage.

While she lay naked except for a towel, 34-year-old El Alfy assaulted her.

The victim reported the offence to police and El Alfy was arrested, before denying the offence and being released pending further enquiries.

Three years later, in 2015, he was working at the Hilton Hotel in Brentford . A 45-year-old woman attended the health spa, and while laying on her front, was sexually assaulted.

El Alfy struck a second time that day when a 48-year-old woman was sexually assaulted while he gave her a facial massage.

The incidents were reported to police and El Alfy was arrested and subsequently charged.

Following a trial, he was found guilty of two counts of sexual assault and one count of digital penetration.

On hearing the guilty verdict verdicts, El Alfy became aggressive and shouted at jury members that they had only found him guilty because his victims were women.

He was jailed for two years’ for both sexual assaults and four years for the digital penetration, with the three sentences to run consecutively.

El Alfy was also served with a sexual harm prevention order preventing him from working as a masseur and placed on the sex offenders register indefinitely.

Detective Inspector Rory Wilkinson of the Met’s Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command said after the sentencing: “El Alfy targeted women he encountered through his job as a masseur, abusing his role to carry out these attacks.

“His sentence of eight years reflects the seriousness of the offences he committed."

He commended the work of two officers in the successful investigation, and also paid tribute to the victims, saying they should be “commended for their bravery in giving evidence in court”.
