A police car was towed away from Long Lane, Hillingdon, in the early hours of the morning after a suspected police chase gone wrong.

The Metropolitan police marked car, with severe damage to the front of the vehicle, was seen being towed away at around 12am on Sunday, 24 May.

An eyewitness said: "A car has mounted the pavement and had gone straight into a tree."

Additional police cars and several sirens were heard speeding down the road in the direction of Western Avenue (A40).

A helicopter was also circling overhead.

Residents raised concerns on social media after disruptions on the road.
