A man has been stabbed to death on an estate in Isleworth .

The man, believed to be in his late 20s, was reportedly stabbed in the neck on the Ivybridge estate in Summerwood Road, Isleworth, on Sunday (April 10) afternoon.

Police said officers were called at 4.05pm to reports of a stabbing, and the man was pronounced at the scene at 5.18pm.

Simon Anderson, who lives on the estate, reported that 30 officers in riot gear were seen entering Haweswater House after a man was stabbed in the neck.

He said the death followed another stabbing near to Asda the previous week.

London's Air Ambulance and London Ambulance Service attended the scene.

Police said on Monday (April 11) morning the man's next of kin were in the process of being information and officers were awaiting formal identification.

They said Homicide and Major Crime Command had been notified and enquiries were ongoing.

A post-mortem examination is due to be held soon.
