A man has been charged with murder in connection with the death of a 50-year-old, who was found at a flat in Acton on Tuesday (March 14).

Detectives from the Met's Homicide and Major Crime Unit charged Giuseppe Lomedico, 54, of no fixed address, on Thursday morning (March 26).

He was remanded in custody to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on Thursday afternoon.

Police were called to a flat in Cumberland Park on Tuesday. A 50-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other men were also arrested on suspicion of murder.

One, a 50-year-old, has been released on police bail to return on a date in mid April.

The second, a 44-year-old man, remains in custody while ongoing enquiries continue.

Officers have identified the victim but have not yet released details. Next of kin have yet to be informed.
