A man has been charged after a 30-year-old man was shot and injured in Ealing .

Jamal Myers-Ghani, 21, of Saxon Drive, Acton , was charged on Sunday, March 27 with two counts of attempted murder.

He appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on Monday (28 March).

Metropolitan Police said two male suspects approached three men, on Brouncker Road, Acton, on March 15, shortly before 4.45pm.

A number of shots, believed to be from a black handgun, were fired towards the group of three men.

A 30-year-old man was shot in the legs, although his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.

A 25-year-old man was initially believed to have suffered gun shot injuries, but after receiving medical treatment this was found not to be the case. He has since been discharged from hospital.

A 24-year-old man was treated for shock, and has been discharged from hospital.

Police recovered vehicle from scene

Police released an appeal for witnesses after the shooting, after officers recovered a vehicle.

They said both suspects were in a dark-coloured vehicle, with tinted rear passenger windows. Detectives recovered a vehicle at Saxon Drive, Acton, suspected to be involved in this incident.

Suspect one was described as a black male, wearing dark clothing. Suspect two was described as a black male, in his early 20s wearing dark clothing.

Myers-Ghani will next appear in custody at the Old Bailey on Wednesday (March 30).

A second man, aged 24, remains on bail until late May pending further enquiries.
