Police put up a notice at Ealing Broadway station calling for witnesses to come forward after a man was attacked on a tube

British Transport Police (BTP) are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted on board a tube at Ealing Broadway station.

A poster placed by officers inside the station says the victim was on board a Central Line service on Wednesday February 1 when he was attacked by a group of men.

The incident occurred between 7.15am and 7.25am, on an eastbound service.

Anyone who witnessed the incident has been urged to contact BTP on 0800 40 50 40 or to text 61016 quoting Incident log 86 of 01/02/2017.
