Police have arrested a man they believe was trying to break in and steal from a parking meter.

Hammersmith and Fulham Officers tweeted at the end of September that a male was charged and will be going to court.

The borough police force haven’t told getwestlondon where in Hammersmith and Fulham the alleged offence occurred, however, police from the Ravenscourt area posted a similar tweet a day later.

It is not known if the two tweets refer to the same case or are separate incidents.

The first tweet went out from Hammersmith and Fulham Police on September 21 and read: “#FHTeamA have arrested and charged a male who was seen stealing from @LBHF parking meters! He’ll be going to court.”
