A man in his 20s suffered "life-changing injuries" after a collision with a car outside Stanmore Underground station this morning (December 13).
Metropolitan Police was called at 7.48am to a collision involving a pedestrian and a car outside Stanmore Underground station in London Road.
Officers said a pedestrian believed to be in his 20s was involved in a collision with a car and his injuries were being treated as life threatening.
But officers have since confirmed he suffered "life-changing injuries."
London Air Ambulance (LAA) also attended.
Roads have now reopened after they were closed between London Road and Morecambe Gardens, Marsh Lane and Merrion Avenue.
Delays were being described as "severe."
The pedestrian has been taken to a central London hospital, officers added.
The driver stopped at the scene and is assisting with enquires.
There have been no arrests.
