With roadworks and road closures planned on various roads across west London, make sure you check your route before heading out on your early morning commute to work.

Electrical works continue on the A4 whilst road closures are in place in Ruislip, Ealing and Fulham.

Chiswick

A diversion will be in place

Electrical installation works continue this week in Chiswick.

Both directions of the M4 carriageway including Heston Services and junction 2, will be closed overnight for five nights from Monday, April 10, between midnight and 5.30am.

Motorists will be diverted via the A4 and the A312.

Ealing

Use an alternative route if possible

The B452 Northfield Avenue will be closed in both directions until April 29 between Uxbridge Road and Mattock Lane, to facilitate borough works.

Transport for London (TfL) is advising motorists to use an alternative route.

Ruislip

Restrictions will be in place until May 7

The A4180 High Street will be closed southbound between Eastcote Road and Ickenham Road in Ruislip, to facilitate carriageway reconstruction works.

Works will continue until May 7.

Westminster

Various roads around Hyde Park are affected

There will be various restrictions in place on Birdcage Walk, Hyde Park Corner, Hyde Park and Lancaster Gate, until May 31.

It is to facilitate works for the Cycle Superhighway which will provide cycle routes from outer to inner London.

Fulham

Closures will be in place until April 30

Parsons Green Lane will be closed northbound between New King's Road and Fulham Road whilst utility works are carried out.

TfL advise road users to take an alternative route.

Works are set to continue until April 30.

Knightsbridge

TfL warn of delays at peak times

Work continues until April 2019 during the redevelopment of 55 to 91 Knightsbridge.

It is affecting the A4 in Knightsbridge in both directions between Wilton Place and William Street and the westbound bus lane is closed.
