Happy Friday, London. The weekend is nearly upon us and it will no doubt be a busy one with many people due to celebrate their work Christmas parties today.

Stay with us as here we'll bring you everything that's happening across the capital - be it traffic and travel, the latest breaking news or other stories you might want to read.

We will be bringing you live news from all corners of the city - north , south , east and west .

You might have missed this - The New York Times asked Londoners if they had experienced any "petty crime" - but we didn't exactly take the question too seriously.

One of our most read stories yesterday was this piece on a series of police raids across west London in an effort to get knives and drugs off the street

We’ll also be keeping a close eye on the roads and trains to help you get to where you need to be on time.

If you have a story to share or you spot a breaking incident email Liam.Trim@reachplc.com
