Police have identified a Spanish national, who was living and working in London, as a victim of the London Bridge terror attack .

Ignacio Echeverría Miralles de Imperial has been confirmed as one of the eight people killed by terrorists on Saturday June 3.

The Metropolitan Police said family liaison officers are supporting the 39-year-old's family.

Ignacio's identification comes a day after 32-year-old James McCullen was also revealed as a victim of the terror attack.

Mr McCullen was a British national living in London and was out in the capital that evening.

His family released a statement on his behalf saying: "It is with the deepest regret and sadness that we have today been informed that our son and brother has been declared a victim of the terrorist attack on Saturday night.

"We would like to send our condolences to the relatives and loved ones of all the others who lost their lives, as our thoughts are with them at this time."

The attack was the third terrorist incident on the nation this year and killed eight people and injured 48.

Shortley before 10pm, three terrorists used a van to plough into pedestrians on the bridge before a random frenzied knife attack through Borough Market.
