Two further arrests have been made in connection with the London Bridge terror attack which happened on Saturday June 3 .

Detectives carried out a warrant at a home in Barking, east London in the early hours of Saturday (Jun 10), which led to the arrest of a 28-year-old man.

Officers from the Met's Counter Terrorism Command, supported by the Territorial Support Group, arrested him at around 2.05am.

He was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism under Section 41 of the Terrorism Act 2000.

He has been taken into custody at a police station in Berkshire and is detained under the Terrorism Act.

Searches of the residential address in Barking are ongoing.

And a 27-year-old man was arrested at a residential address in Ilford, east London on Friday June 9.

Officers from the Met's Counter Terrorism Command, supported by the Territorial Support Group, carried out a warrant leading to arrest.

He was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism under Section 41 of the Terrorism Act 2000.

He has been taken into custody at a police station in Berkshire and is detained under the Terrorism Act.

Searches of the residential address in Ilford are ongoing.

On Saturday June 3, a van mounted the pavement and mowed down pedestrians on the bridge , before three attackers, armed with knives, began stabbing people near Borough Market.

Three terrorists who carried out the attack in London Bridge were shot dead by police.

Police identified them as 30-year-old Rachid Redouane, formerly of Harrow, 27-year-old Khuram Shazad Butt and 22-year-old Youssef Zaghba.

Six other men remain in custody.

A 27-year-old man was arrested under the Terrorism Act at approximately 8.05am on Tuesday June 6.

A warrant of further detention was obtained and expires at 8.05am on Sunday June 11.

A 27-year-old man was arrested on a street in Ilford under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act (PACE) at around 10pm on 5 June 5.

He is being held under terrorism legislation.

A 29-year-old man was arrested at an address in Ilford on June 5 under PACE.

He is now being held under terrorism legislation.

A 30-year-old man was arrested at an address in Ilford on suspicion of the preparation of terrorist acts, contrary to section 5 of the Terrorism Act 2006, at approximately 1.30am on June 7. He remains in police custody.

A 29-year-old man was arrested at an address in Newham on suspicion of being concerned in the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism under Section 41 of the Terrorism Act 2000, at approximately 1.15am on June 9, and remains in custody.

A 27-year-old man was arrested at a residential address in Ilford on suspicion of being concerned in the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism under Section 41 of the Terrorism Act 2000, at 8.36pm on June 9. He also remains in custody.

Twelve others arrested in the early stages of the investigation were all released earlier this week without charge.

A 33-year-old man has been bailed to date in late June.

He was arrested on a street in Ilford on June 8 on suspicion of possession with intent to supply controlled drugs, and further arrested on suspicion of firearms offences.
