Kenton Road has been closed in both directions after a crash near the train station – and Transport for London (TfL) are warning drivers to use other routes.

Traffic is queuing in the area after the crash at the junction with Rushout Avenue, which is just yards away from Kenton station in Harrow.

It is believed the crash happened at around 7pm on Tuesday (December 4) and the road will remain closed until the scene is cleared by emergency services.

TfL Traffic News tweeted: “Kenton Road in both directions at the junction of Hawthorne Avenue [the opposite side of Rushout Avenue] – restrictions are in place following a collision.

“Seek an alternative route and expect delays in the area.”

A picture posted on Twitter shows the fire brigade and what looks like an ambulance on the scene.
