An accident on the M4 has sparked traffic queues for motorists approaching Hillingdon from Berkshire.

The motorway, London bound, is partially blocked before junction 4B with the M25, where the accident occurred after 2pm (Sunday November 6).

It is not yet clear how many people were involved in the accident or whether there are any injuries.

Earlier today Ealing motorists were facing queues due to a collapsed manhole in Perivale.

One lane was closed on the A40 Western Avenue westbound between Alperton Lane and the Medway Underpass.
