Police are hunting a knife-wielding man who broke into a Kingsbury home this week.

Brent police are appealing for witnesses to a robbery at an address in Uphill Drive on Monday (April 27) at 8.20 pm.

A 44-year-old woman was in her bedroom at home and was alerted to a noise. She opened her bedroom door to find a man armed with a knife inside her flat.

The man threatened her with the knife, demanding jewellery and money.

The woman tried to grab the knife, causing cuts to her hand, before handing over a bag of her jewellery and money.

The suspect then ran out of the house towards Kingsbury Road.

The suspect is described as a black male, around 30 to 35-years-old, 6ft 2ins tall, and was wearing a white hooded top and grey tracksuit bottoms.

Investigating officers have yet to make any arrests.
