Pupils found a knife at a school in Kensington attended by David Cameron ’s son.

The Stanley knife was discovered at St Mary Abbots primary school in Kensington Church Court by Year Six pupils on March 15, causing a “a great deal of concern”.

The Kensington and Chelsea Council spokesperson said: “All Year 6 parents were alerted after a Stanley knife was found at the school.

"The knife was handed to a teacher by a pupil and while there is no suggestion it was used to cause harm it has nevertheless caused a great deal of concern.

“St Mary Abbots is an excellent school that provides a safe and happy environment for children to learn and will do everything in its power to ensure this remains the case.”

Met Police said it had no record of the incident when contacted by getwestlondon.
