Kensington and Chelsea police officer suspended after cocaine dealing charge

A police officer has been suspended from duty after being accused of dealing cocaine.

Detective Constable Grant McPherson, 36, attached to Kensington and Chelsea Borough , was charged with two counts of supplying Class A drugs and one count of Misconduct in Public Office.

The 36-year-old will now appear before City of Westminster Magistrates’ Court on February 2, next year.

He had been arrested at his home address on Tuesday, August 9 as part of a Directorate of Professional Standards investigation following a public complaint.
