Jewellery theft arrest in Harrow... and driver had no insurance, tax or MOT and failed to stop for police

Harrow Police has recovered jewellery believed to have been stolen and a mobile phone

A person has been arrested for a string of offences on Saturday (September 9) after they failed to stop for police.

The driver has been arrested for theft, no insurance and failing to stop for Harrow Police.

Officers managed to get the driver to stop their Ford Focus car and discovered a quantity of jewellery which was believed to be stolen.

Among the jewellery included a handful of gold rings and a mobile phone, all of which appears to have been placed into an evidence bag by officers.

The driver involved in the arrest did not have tax or an MOT on their vehicle.
