A lorry has struck a bridge and caught fire - bringing train services to a halt.
The vehicle, a white lorry, collided with a bridge between Hounslow and Isleworth on Wednesday (October 4) morning.
London Fire Brigade are believed to be on the scene.
Train services through Brentford station are suspended on South Western Railway , between Barnes and Twickenham, and between Barnes and Feltham.

'Good service' on train lines
South Western Railway is now reporting ‘good service’ on the Hounslow Loop after the earlier disruption.
St John's Road
The lorry collided with an Isleworth bridge on St John’s Road earlier today.
There is still ‘heavy traffic’ on the surrounding roads following the collision.

St John’s Road in both directions partially blocked, heavy traffic due to bridge struck by vehicle between A315 London Road and Loring Road.
Traffic is having to take it in turns to pass a lorry which has hit a rail bridge near Isleworth Station.

Today’s incident is a year after three people were injured when a double-decker bus had its roof ripped off after the driver hit the very SAME railway bridge.

No one was injured during the incident, fire brigade confirms
London Fire Brigade were called to the incident at 10.41am this morning.
A spokesperson said:
“We were called to lorry alight St John’s Road in Isleworth.
“5% of the lorry trailer was damaged by fire.
“Nobody was injured.
“The incident was over for us at 11.11am.”
Rail disruption is expected to last until 1pm
South Western Railway expect services will improve by lunchtime.
