There’s only one day left to snap up reduced price tickets to one of the most eagerly anticipated events in Brentford FC’s lifetime.

Tomorrow (Thursday) the special £110 per person offer for the club's 125th Anniversary Dinner expires.

VIPs already confirmed to attend the formal bash being hosted on Thursday November 20 (three days before the anniversary of the first ever match which was held against Kew FC) by Fulham’s Hurlingham Club include England Manager Roy Hodgson and former Bees chairman, BBC director general and current FA boss Greg Dyke.

Long-time supporters will also recognise former player Bradley Walsh (as will fans of TV shows Coronation Street and The Chase) and current sports enthusiasts will be knocked out to find local boxer George Groves is coming.

Other highlights on the night include speeches reflecting on how far the club has come since being formed on October 10 1889 at the Oxford and Cambridge Hotel pub beside Kew Bridge in Brentford.

The night is being MC’d by Chiswick-born Sky Sports News presenter Natalie Sawyer who is well-known for her devotion to the Bees.

Former players Bob Booker, Terry Evans, George Francis, Peter Gelson, Jackie Graham, Alan Hawley, Bobby Ross and Danis Salman will also be present.

The event will be 6.30pm for a 7.15pm start followed by a three course menu with wine and all proceeds on the night donated to the club’s Community Sports Trust.

Tickets can also be brought for a table of 10 at £1,000 and £800 for one of eight.
