The search is on to recognise west Londoners who work tirelessly to reach their dreams and are seen as inspirational role models.

Employers, colleagues, friends and family are being asked to nominate for their SuperAchievers in five categories; Working mum of the Year; Young Achiever of the Year; PA of the Year; Business Newcomer of the Year; and Student of the Year.

For the first time, the awards run by independent training provider, Pitman Training, who have sites in Hammersmith, Harrow, Hounslow, Notting Hill and Wembley, have decided to make the public part of the judges panel.

Centre manager at Hounslow Pitman Training , Yogesh Gahlawat, said: “Having the public as our 4th judge helps us reward those who have had a true impact on those around them, in their local community.

“The awards are all about rewarding and showcasing people who really go the extra mile and strive to achieve, as a way of honouring hard workers, but also as a way of showcasing to others what can be done.

“We hear many great success stories from our students in Hounslow of lives transformed and are passionate about making sure we recognise these, along with hunting out others from within the local business community, within this national campaign.”

Pitman Training offers tailor-made courses and qualifications with one-on-one student support in subjects including office, IT, administration, finance and business.

The public will join judges including leading PA Adam Fidler, author and mum blogger Kirsty Smith; and last year’s SuperAchiever PA of the Year, Florence Katono, decide the worthy winners.

Judge Kirsty Smith said: “I’m excited to be involved with the Pitman SuperAchievers and in particular the Working Mum of The Year.

"I honestly think that rather than being bad for your professional life starting a family can be the perfect inspiration for getting the career you really want.

“I’m really interested to see how becoming a mother has inspired mums to be successful at work by adding new skills or maybe even starting something completely new.”

Winners will receive £500 along with a trophy, £15 Amazon vouchers, a distance learning training course and stationery pack.
