A 27-year-old man remains in a life threatening condition in hospital after sustaining knife wounds on a street in Hounslow on Tuesday November 8.
Police were called to Kingsley Road at around 12.30am , following reports that a fight had broken out in the street.
The 27-year-old, along with two others, were arrested in connection with the incident on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and affray.
A 26-year-old man and 26-year-old woman arrested were also injured and discharged from hospital.
They were remanded in custody at a west London police station, following their arrests.
A fourth man, who was uninjured, was arrested on suspicion of affray. The man, in his 20s, is in custody at a west London police station.
Police have stepped up patrols in the Hounslow area to reassure the public.
Chief Inspector of Neighbourhood for Hounslow, Wayne Matthews, spoke to getwestlondon following the incident to reassure residents.
Mr Matthews said: “The altercation is believed to be involving an ongoing dispute between the individuals.
“Our message to the community is this was not an unprovoked attack.
“We believe this to be an ongoing dispute between individuals concerned and not a random attack.
“There is no risk to other members of the public.”
He also urged those with information to come forward by contacting Hounslow Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
