A Metropolitan Police spokesman added: “A post-mortem will be scheduled in due course.”

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said:

“We were called at 3.39pm to reports of a stabbing in Rosebery Road, Hounslow.

“We sent an ambulance crew and an incident response officer to the scene.

“We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.

“Sadly, despite extensive efforts to save him, the patient died at the scene.”

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward

The deceased received a stab wound during an 'altercation'

A man has died after stabbing during a ‘group altercation’ in Hounslow.

Metropolitan Police confirm that they were called at around 3.36pm on Monday (September 4) to reports of an altercation between two groups of men in Rosebery Road, Hounslow.

A spokesperson for the force said:

“London Ambulance Service was also called.

“When officers arrived, the groups had dispersed but they found a man (believed to be aged in his late 20s) lying injured on the street with a stab wound to the chest.

“The victim was treated by paramedics and London’s Air Ambulance at the scene, however they were unable to save him and life was pronounced extinct at 4.18pm.”
