A man has died from “critical-assault injuries” following a fight in Hounslow on Sunday morning (October 8).
Police and emergency services were called to the incident in Montague Road at 2.52am after reports of a fight.
London Ambulance Service attended the scene to find a man in his 30s suffering critical assault-related injuries.
He sadly died at the scene a short while later.
The victim’s next of kin are yet to be informed and he is yet to be formally identified.
The Met's Homicide and Major Crime Command (HMCC) launched a murder investigation into the incident.
A police cordon remains in place in Montague Road while police carry out an investigation.
The Met confirmed that a post-mortem examination will be held in due course.
