The family of Hounslow murder victim Patrick Oyeri is raising money to send his body home to Uganda for his funeral.

A JustGiving page has been launched looking to raise £5,000 and has already collected more than £3,000.

It was set up by his younger brother Moses, who used the page to pay tribute to Patrick and speak of the pain and anguish his family are suffering.

Police launched a murder investigation after Mr Oyeri was fatally stabbed in Rosebery Road on Monday (September 4) afternoon.

Emergency services tried to save his life but he died at the scene a short while later.

Officers from the Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating but are yet to make any arrests.

Writing on the fundraising page, Moses said: “It’s with a heavy heart that I have to inform you that my brother Patrick Oyeri was killed on Monday 4th September in broad daylight.

“We can’t even express the pain we feel as we have not only lost a brother but a son, a father, and a best friend.

“We have started a go fund me page to raise money in memory of Patrick and to make sure he gets the send off a king deserves.

“Once the investigation is over Patrick will be laid to rest in our birth country of Uganda. RIP bro, you will be missed.”
