A man from Hounslow has been given a suspended sentence for offences related to child porn.

Martin Cornish of Holland Gardens, Brentford who admitted to a number of child pornography charges was handed a suspended sentence for 40 weeks at Isleworth Crown Court on Monday (September 5).

Of the 30 indecent photos of a child, some were classed as being in the most serious of the three categories – Category A - under the sexual offences guidelines.

The 59-year-old had pleaded guilty to five counts of making (downloading) an indecent photo or pseudo-photograph of a child, at the same court on August 4.

Cornish also admitted to being in breach of the terms of a sexual offence prevention order, for being in possession of storage devices which he had banned from using.
